We bought this image in a large collection of prints and we do not know who this artist is. It is a watercolor on antique paper. The paper is from around the 1830s and you can see the watermark in the paper of J. Whatmann which is the same paper that was used on Audubon's Birds of North America in the 1830s but this paper looks older than that. We have framed this one of a kind piece into an antique frame from the 1860s with acid free matboard. This truly is a one of a kind piece.
