Camellias by Verschaffelt
Giclée reproductions of Verschaffelt’s Nouvelle Iconographie des Camellias. Published in Belgium in the 1850's and 60's. It is probably the rarest and greatest camellia catalogue of all time. The drawings were by Bernard Leon, printed on stone by G. Severeyns.and produced by Ambroise Verschaffelt. Our Giclée prints are printed on Somerset Velvet acid free cotton rag paper that is imported from England. The inks are archival and will last over a century and are printed at such a high resolution (1440 dots per square inch) that is almost impossible to tell the difference between the original printing and our reproduction. Made in the USA.
Print size: 12 inches wide by 18 inches tall.
